Despite the decrease of the activity of polymer markets, polypropylene industry demonstrates positive dynamics - capacities of certain companies show steady growth (Stavrolen, Nizhnekamskneftekhim), new facilities of TITAN and modernization of production (Tomskneftekhim) are to be facilitated in the first half of 2010, and important projects (Tobolsk-Polymer) remain in force. Domestic producers start to substitute foreign suppliers. Changes of the economic environment at the beginning of the year made brought to the little decline of PP consumption and made it possible to strengthen positions of Russian companies.
